Craftory is a non-profit collective who contribute their skills for the benefit of the community. Bringing disused spaces back to life by sharing our skills in painting, crafting, repairing and more.
I joined The Craftory as a resident artist over the Summer of 2018, helping them build the brand, expand their visual language and understand the importance of tone by running design workshops for the collective.
Project Mapping Document Visual Style Guide ︎
The Craftory also runs local events promoting grassroots art and community interaction through their MMM and Gardening projects. I created energetic poster art that is eye catching and engaging, on brand but with an individual twist for each campaign.

I also created a set of internal style guide documents for staff to use for their own projects. By including easy to understand guidelines, the required digital files and giving small workshops where needed other project leaders were able to create their own artwork with room to play and stay on brand.

I approached the design process with an integrated multichannel approach, making sure projects and brand span coherantly across offline events and online user experiences across social channels.
